    Highly Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken & Written).

    2.    Senior Merchandiser for Textile Department (1 person)

     

    Requirements:

    Source and develop suppliers and ensure products according to requirements.

    Monitor progress on product development and sampling to ensure timelines are met.

    Ability to work independently on order process.

    Good follow-up & distinctive communication skills with factories & head office.

    Highly Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken & Written).

    At least 3 yrs. related experience is a must.

     

    3.    Quality Controler for Textile Department (1 person)

     

    Duties / responsibilities

    ---Conduct on-line, final inspection according to AQL & client’s requirement, and fill the inspection report.

    ---Have knowledge in various kind of textiles (circular knit, flat knit, woven, accessoires) Familiar with visual checking, functional testing, packaging checking to make sure the product is qualified base on signed sample and order confirmation.

     

    ---Check coming materials and monitor all production processes in factories;

    ---Report the important quality issues timely and communicate with Germany’s headoffice.

    ---Look for possible solutions to improve, promote the product quality;

    ---Foresee any potential quality problems and improve them timely;

     

    Requirements:

     

    ---College graduated or above.

    ---5 + year quality control experience in textiles.

    ---Knowledge of AQL standards as well as relevant safety and quality regulations.

    ---Good English in reading/writing, speaking will be a plus.

    ---Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.

    ---Like to travel.

     

    4.    CSR supervisor (1 person)

     

    Main goals and objectives:

    This position drives the successful PR (public relations) & Communication for CSR strategy and programs of GEBRA in China, including but not limited to:

    -       Create the PR & Communication strategy for CSR activities in China:

    -       To monitor and analyze CSR, PR & Communication

    -       To track communication performance and make suggestions for improvement

    -       Take in charge of the communication consistency and efficiency on a daily operation by cooperating with different parties, for example. Textile department, Footwear department and Hardware department, Testing institutes, Inspection company as well as their suppliers.

    -       Support our suppliers in development activities. Improve suppliers' social and environmental performance by following up on Corrective Action Plans.

    -       Communicate audit results both internally and externally when necessary.

    -       Take in charge of high-quality maintenance CSR and other corporate related communications so as to achieve good reputation from general public.

     

     

    Our Requirements:

    -       University degree in communications, public relations, or in the area of sustainability/environment or similar.

    -       Knowledge about CSR is highly appreciated

    -       High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.

    -       Willingness to travel frequently

     

    Personal skills:

    -       Excellent communication skills with ability to develop positive inter-personal relations

    -       Strong analysis, planning and organization skills

    -       Strong cross functional management skills

    -       Very rich in writing and editing competence

    -       Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated

    -       Strategic / analytic thinking

    -       Presentation skills

    -       Pursue perfection into details on the daily workings

     

    Working experience (in years):

    -       minimum 3 years in CSR is preferred

     

     

    5.    CR coordinator (1 person)

     

    Main goals and objectives:

    -       Take in charge of the communication consistency and efficiency on a daily operation by cooperating with different parties, for example. Textile department, Footwear department and Hardware department, Testing institutes, Inspection company as well as their suppliers.

    -       Timely management of suppliers on MSDS collection, conformity declaration, chemical inventory list set up and monitoring and Detox testing and root cause analysis against client’s MRSL standard.

    -       Support our suppliers and their sub suppliers in development activities. Improve suppliers' chemical management performance by regular on-site visit and/or Corrective Action Plans follow up.

    -       Communicate analysis results both internally and externally when necessary.

     

    Our Requirements:

    -       To monitor and analyze CR, PR & Communication

    -       To track communication performance and make suggestions for improvement.

    -       Bachelor degree or above, in the major of Softline or Chemical is preferred.

    -       Knowledge about Detox or chemical management is highly appreciated, Knowledge of production process in factory such as apparel industry is preferred.

    -       Strict adherence to timelines / deadlines

    -       High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.

    -       Willingness to travel frequently

     

    Personal skills:

    -       Excellent communication skills with ability to develop positive inter-personal relations

    -       Strong analysis, planning and organization skills

    6.    CR - Chemical engineer

    Since Detox is an important part of our CR strategy, the candidate will need cover all aspects of the Detox requirements. This includes monitoring and close communication with our suppliers and also on-site visits in the production facilities.

     

    We are required to do extensive chemical testing for all products to be imported mainly in the EU. The candidate should also be able to assist our sourcing and production monitoring colleagues in questions regarding the use of chemicals in different products as well as testing procedures.

     

    Besides Chemical issues, he should be willing to cover other CR issues as well. If necessary, we will provide adequate training.

     

    We expect:

    ·         Profound understanding of chemical details in the production of consumer goods

    ·         Knowledge in the field of testing requirements (TUV, SGS, BV etc.)

    ·         English in writing and speaking

    ·         Efficient use of Office-software

    ·         Willingness to travel and to attend training measures
